Medplaya Aparthotel Esmeraldas, Tossa de Mar

The hotel offers some great features like having cooking facilities for extra convenience, but the rooms could use an update and had a lingering smell of cigarettes that wasn't pleasant for us. However, the service was top-notch with very helpful and friendly staff. The location is a mixed bag with convenient access to a supermarket but not quite central or close to the beach. The dining experience was satisfactory with good variety though mainly cold dishes. Overall, the hotel is decent but could benefit from some improvements.

Service from Galicia, Juan, and Isabel was outstanding, especially the bar/restaurant manager Juan, who was very helpful. The location is convenient with opportunities to park on the street but may cause delayed room servicing due to siesta times. The dining experience was of good quality, although some items were outdated. Facilities met expectations with decent amenities.
